Membership
Membership is at the heart of everything Retail Council of Canada does — without our members, there is no RCC. Everything RCC does is for the benefit of its members, and its Membership Department is where retailers have their most direct link to RCC's wide array of programs and services.

Member Briefings
Member Briefings are 45-minute meetings between RCC and retail executive Last year, RCC's Membership team completed 30 briefings, hitting members in all provinces. Feedback has been extremely positive, with member saying they understood how RCC can become an extension of their team.

Cost-Saving Programs
The past year saw thousands of members take advantage of RCC's roster of cost-saving programs, developed in partnership with leading providers of products and services to the retail industry. A total of 17 partners now provide RCC members discounts on banking, POS swipe rates, office products, payroll services, insurance, security services, and more.

Customer Service Calls
In May 2007, RCC's Customer Service team initiated a new program in which team members proactively reached out to retailers, ensuring they were informed of the wide range of services available to them as RCC members. This is in addition to the vast number of incoming queries from retailers on everything from membership benefits to requests for industry research.
