Advocacy
RCC's Government Relations department lobbies the government on key issues of concern to retailers. Retail Council of Canada's "GR" team has successfully represented the interests of our members on issues such as tax, employment, the environment, store hours, international trade, transportation and product safety. Communications
The Communications department is responsible for communications, marketing and media relations at Retail Council of Canada. Education
Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is dedicated to promoting "Retail as Career" by working with industry and government on retail education initiatives. RCC is currently working with industry and its partners to develop training solutions and a recognition framework for the retail industry. Information Technology
The Information Technology department represents the Canadian retail sector on technology and e-commerce domestically and internationally, acts as an expert and consultant on technology and e-commerce issues for RCC's more than 9,000 members, and assists retailers in business planning for new online ventures and venture funding.
