Bill Yetman joined Retail Council of Canada's Government Relations team in 2000. As Director, he was responsible for the Ontario region as well as RCC's environment portfolio. In 2002, along with his Government Relations duties, Bill took on the additional responsibilities for the associations operations.
Today, as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for overall operation of the association including, membership/customer service, communications and publications, information technology, marketing, sponsorship, education, events, and partnership development.
Prior to joining RCC, Bill served for more than 16 years as a senior political assistant with the Government's of Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and the Federal Government for more than 19 years.
Bill served in the office of the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ontario and Newfoundland & Labrador; was Chief of Staff to the Minister of Education in Newfoundland & Labrador; and was a Policy/Legislative Assistant for various Ontario Ministries including, Municipal Affairs and Housing, Colleges and Universities, Community and Social Services and Culture, and Communications.
Bill also served as Special Assistant to Canada's Minister of Employment and Immigration.
