National Manager, Government Relations — Environment

As National Manager, Government Relations (Environment), Rachel advocates on behalf of the retail industry on environmental issues at the national level and across all provincial jurisdictions. Rachel joined RCC in November 2005.
Prior to joining RCC, Rachel worked at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce as its Senior Policy Analyst, where she was responsible for preparing policy submissions, correspondence, presentations and background briefing materials on a wide range of provincial issues, including finance and taxation, education, health care and energy. She also led in the development of sound policy positions and initiatives to support the chamber's strategic goals.
Rachel studied accounting and economics and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University in Toronto.
