Retail Sales Associate Workbook

The Retail Sales Associate Workbook is a self-directed workbook that has been developed for individuals entering the workforce for the first time, as well as for those who have been working within the retail industry and wish to raise their levels of performance. The workbook is based on the Retail Sales Associate National Occupational Standards and is ideal for those individuals who wish to complete Retail Council of Canada's Retail Sales Associate Certification Program. Areas covered in the Retail Sales Associate Workbook include sections on professionalism, providing personalized customer service, monitoring inventory, maintaining the appearance of the department/store, and protecting company assets. An additional section on communication has been added, although it is not included in the Retail Sales Associate Standards. A Job Coach Manual accompanies the workbook and can be used by an individual's job coach or supervisor. The workbook is available in English and French and is a useful resource for individuals and organizations alike.
