The FoodWise Food Safety Certification Program provides grocery retail staff with a better understanding of the factors that influence food safety. The purpose of the program is to provide staff with the science behind the procedures that keep food safe.
The FoodWise food safety certification program was developed for and continues to be used by the retail food industry for the certification of owner-operators, store managers, department managers and other key retail employees. The program provides employee training programs that include temperature control, food handling practices, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, etc.

British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec (Manager & Food Handler), New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland-Labrador.

FoodWise Certificate Reprints:
Retail Council of Canada issues the certificates/letters for the session to the retailer hosting the FoodWise Session only. The Retailer is responsible for distributing the certificates/letters to participants who attended the sessions.
If you have lost or misplaced your certificate, please contact the employer who provided you with the training, for a copy of the certificate. RCC will not reissue / reprint any certificates unless the request has come from the retailer who hosted the FoodWise session the participant attended.
