- For maximum legibility, the logo should not be reduced in size less than 1.75 inches in width (this is the size of the logo printed on our letterhead).

3. References To Retail Council of Canada:
The proper English written form of our corporate name is Retail Council of Canada. There is no "the" in front of the corporate name. The corporate name should always be used in full in first reference.
Correct: "The conference is presented by Retail Council of Canada."
Incorrect: "The conference is presented by the Retail Council of Canada."
For second and subsequent references, the proper short form/abbreviation in English is RCC. The short form/abbreviation is always capitalized. Avoid partial references, such as: Retail Council, the Council, etc.
Correct: "RCC is pleased to welcome you as a new member."
Incorrect: "Retail Council is pleased to welcome you as a new member."
The proper French written form of our corporate name is Conseil canadien du commerce de détail. There is no "le" in front of the corporate name. For second and subsequent references, the proper short form/abbreviation in French is CCCD. The short form/abbreviation is always capitalized. Avoid partial references, such as le Conseil.
