Manitoba launches five-year review of workplace safety and health act

The Manitoba government is launching a legislated five-year review of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and its three associated regulations – the Administrative Penalty Regulation, the Operation of Mines Regulation and the Workplace Safety and Health Regulation.

A representative Workplace Safety and Health Act review committee will review submissions and provide recommendations to the Manitoba government. Individuals and organizations have until November 30, 2022 to submit their recommendations, and RCC will begin developing its submission in coming days.
