For members with stores in Manitoba: Manitoba Minimum Wage Increases to $11.35 on October 1, 2018

Yesterday Manitoba Growth, Enterprise and Trade Minister Blaine Pedersen announced an anticipated increase in minimum wage.

Effective October 1, 2018 the Manitoba minimum wage will increase 20 cents per hour, from the current rate of $11.15 to the new rate of $11.35, reflecting an inflation rate of 1.6 percent.

In 2017 the government passed legislation that now indexes minimum wage with the rate of inflation, a fully transparent and predictable formula supported by RCC.
