Member Update / Impact:

Effective October 1, 2014, Manitoba’s minimum wage will increase by 25 cents to $10.70 per hour. This represents a 2.4 percent increase to the province’s minimum wage.

With this increase, Manitoba will have the second highest provincial minimum wage in Canada, despite the Government of Manitoba’s continued claims that Manitobans enjoy the lowest cost of living in the country.
