Effective October 1, 2015, Ontario’s minimum wage will increase by 25 cents to $11.25 per hour. This represents a 2.2 percent increase to the province’s minimum wage.

Students under 18 who work not more than 28 hours per week will see minimum wage increase from $10.30 to $10.55 per hour.


With the increase, Ontario will continue to have the highest provincial minimum wage in Canada. Minimum wage is adjusted annually relative to the Ontario Consumer Price Index.
