Alberta announces investments in job training for employers
April 26, 2022As part of Alberta at Work, Alberta’s government is investing an additional $23 million over three years in the Canada-Alberta Job Grant. This program is designed to help employers hire workers and helps businesses build the skills they need to grow. Both unemployed and current employees who upgrade skills can benefit if employers are eligible. An additional $41 million over three years will support Alberta’s Training for Work programs, which are available to support various forms of in-business training, immigrant bridging and other training strategies to enhance skills of those underrepresented in the workplace.
