Alberta’s Justice Minister to meet RCC on retail crime

Alberta’s Minister of Justice and solicitor General, the Hon. Tyler Shandro has agreed to meet with RCC next week to discuss the evolving issues related to retail crime and safety. He will be joined by his key officials, as well representation from the Ministry of Jobs, Economy, and Innovation. RCC members have expressed increasing concern for the retail crime they and their store staff are facing, and we believe this meeting is an important first step towards a better coordinated provincial-wide approach to this important issue.
