All COVID-related public health orders now removed in Saskatchewan
July 13, 2021With immunization targets achieved, Saskatchewan moved to its final stage of reopening on Sunday, July 11, 2021 when all public health orders were removed. This included the removal of the province-wide mandatory masking order, and the removal of all COVID retail guideline documents and capacity limits.
As a course of normal business, retail stores are required to ensure their Occupational Health and Safety plans reflect any COVID-19 transmission considerations as part of these ongoing plans.
Similar to Alberta, many retail stores are going slowly in the removal of employee and customer targeted protocols, as they determine what common practice is, and what the evolving expectations of their workforce and patrons will be.
