Amendments to Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act
March 4, 2025B.C. introduced Bill 4, the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act on February 25, 2025. The important changes to the legislation include: prohibiting some terms in consumer contracts; other requirements for consumer contracts including subscriptions; and, regulating direct sales.
