Applications open for small business hurricane relief program in Nova Scotia

The provincial government will provide one-time grants of up to $2,500 to eligible small businesses that had to close for at least five days between September 23, 2022 and October 7, 2022, due to Hurricane Fiona. Retailers, wholesalers, and restaurants are eligible for this grant so long as:

• Their yearly gross revenue is not more than $5 million;
• They paid the corporate tax rate for small businesses on income taxes in the most recent tax year.
