RCC/CCCD initiates meetings with parties ahead of Québec elections this fall

July 19, 2022

As we near the October 4, 2022 general elections in Québec, Michel Rochette RCC/CCCD Québec President, and Apraham Niziblian Government Affairs Director for Québec, initiated a series of discussions with all five parties represented within the National Assembly.

Last week, the first three of these meetings took place, notably with the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) present outgoing government, Liberal Party of Québec (official ppposition), and Québec Solidaire (second opposition) main platform editors. Each party representative was presented with RCC/CCCD’s principal messages and issues – such as labour shortages, policy cohesion on some matters across the province, as well as issues dealing with supply chains for retailers – prior to the parties’ main campaign pledges.

Meetings with Parti Québécois and Parti Conservateur du Québec representatives will follow shortly.

Look for upcoming issues and more details on RCC/CCCD’s #Votezdetail page soon.
