B.C. Accessibility Standards Report Coming January 2025

Attention Retailers and Employers in B.C.: British Columbia is on track to implement new accessibility standards starting November 1, 2024. Draft standards for Accessible Service Delivery and Employment Accessibility were released in May 2024, with a consultation period that closed in July, 2024. The government’s ‘What We Heard’ report from these consultations will be published in January 2025. RCC, with input from members, made a formal submission and will keep a close eye on developments to ensure you stay informed and prepared for implementation.
