B.C. exempts heat pumps from PST, raises PST for fossil fuel combustion systems
April 5, 2022As of April 1, 2022, the PST on fossil fuel combustion systems has increased from 7% to 12%, and heat pumps are exempt from PST. Retailers who sell fossil fuel combustion systems are reminded to update their point-of-sale systems to reflect the change.
