B.C. Releases Expert Panel Recommendations on Labour Relations Code Amendments
June 26, 2025In January 2024, the government appointed an expert panel to make recommendations of potential changes to the B.C. Labour Relations Code. Stakeholders, including RCC, made submissions between February 16 and May 7, 2024. The panel provided its recommendations to the previous Minister of Labour on August 31, 2024. Government released those recommendations on June 23, 2025.
Government is seeking stakeholder input on the panel’s recommendations by September 19, 2025. RCC will provide a response to the panel recommendations. Members interested in providing input to RCC’s submission are asked to contact Greg Wilson.
