June 24, 2021Yesterday, Nova Scotia removed border restrictions and opened to residents of Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Travellers from these regions will be able to travel to Nova Scotia without having to self-isolate.
Anyone arriving from New Brunswick (including Nova Scotians) will be subject to self-isolation rules regardless of their vaccination status until they have received a negative COVID-19 PCR lab test in Nova Scotia. The long-standing rules for commercial traffic, cross border workers moving into Nova Scotia from New Brunswick remain in place. The rules for New Brunswick will be extended to all Canada of June 30, 2021.
