Nova Scotia capacity restrictions loosened under Phase 3
July 5, 2021
Nova Scotia entered Phase 3 of its reopening plan on Wednesday, allowing retailers to welcome customers in store at up to 75% of capacity. Restaurants can now serve food and alcohol until 12am and must close by 1am, while personal service businesses such as salons, barber shops, and spas can take walk-in customers. All other Phase 2 protocols remain in place, including rules regarding social distancing and masks.
Phase 4 is expected to start on July 14, 2021, as long as 75% of the population has received their first vaccine dose and confirmed case counts remain low, with little ongoing spread.
