Quebec government names new cabinet: Labour shortage, economy & French language amongst top issues
October 18, 2022On October 3, 2022, Québec reelected the Legault government with 90 elected Members of the National Assembly (MNAs). This 43rd legislature will reconvene its work on November 15, 2022.
RCC/CCCD is closely monitoring Cabinet nominations set to be announced this Thursday, October 20, 2022. Incoming portfolios concerning our membership, including economy, labor shortage, and French language law modifications. CCCD will request meetings with portfolio holders.
Such meetings will serve to continue relations with Cabinet members and their staff in order to update them on the reality retailers are seeing on the ground.
