Cutting Construction Red Tape in Alberta: RCC to Meet with Government

Alberta’s pressure equipment safety approval process is causing multi-week delays for new and remodeled store openings—more than any other province. RCC is pushing for change.

Alberta’s Minister of Municipal Affairs, Hon. Ric McIver, has agreed to meet with RCC and members in the coming weeks to address inefficiencies in the current framework. We’re building our case and look forward to this discussion to help streamline approvals and reduce delays.
