Government Seeks Input on Changes to Forced Labour Import

October 22, 2024

Global Affairs Canada is consulting on potentially significant changes to Canada’s ban on importing goods made with forced labour. The proposal includes creating a list of at-risk goods and requiring importers to provide additional supply chain documentation on those imports. RCC is preparing comments in response and will hold a Responsible Sourcing Committee meeting on October 30, 2024 to discuss the proposal.
