Manitoba Health requests strict adherence to capacity limit
January 26, 2021
Retail stores across most of Manitoba reopened essential items to the public on January 23, 2021 under a strict expectation that their capacity not exceed 25%, to a maximum of 250 customers.
Some stores are experiencing long line-ups as a result of pent-up demand, causing the province to remind retailers that capacity violations will be subject to a $5000 fine.
Overall the government shared that retailers are being very responsible in their support of the new health order.
