EnAbling Retail – Accessibility Program

RCC's EnAbling Retail Program is a webinar series with resources designed to educate and support human resources managers, retail operations leaders and owners in achieving compliance with the Employment Standard under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. The standard sets a legal requirement for Ontario businesses and organizations to foster accessible recruitment, selection and accommodation practices to support employees with disabilities.

Retail Council of Canada (RCC) is working to support retailers in Ontario as they meet their requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the 2017 accessibility compliance reporting requirement.

If you are a retailer with 20 or more employees, the deadline to file your Accessibility Compliance Report is December 31, 2017.
