New Brunswick’s New Cabinet Unveiled: What It Means for Retailers

Following the Liberal Party’s win in October, Premier Elect Susan Holt has announced her first cabinet, featuring key voices from across New Brunswick. With a strong presence from Saint John and Moncton, here’s what RCC members need to know about the new leadership:

  • René Legacy: Deputy Premier, Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, and Energy lead, also overseeing Right to Information and Privacy.
  • Cindy Miles: Spearheading Social Development and driving economic and social inclusion.
  • Chuck Chiasson: Managing Transportation and Infrastructure.
  • Gilles LePage: Shaping Environmental and Climate Change policies and leading Regional Development.
  • Robert Gauvin: Securing Public Safety and championing la Francophonie.
  • Pat Finnigan: Overseeing Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Fisheries.
  • Luke Randall: Advancing Economic Development and Small Business, plus heading NB Liquor and Cannabis NB.
