One of his first moves: eliminating the consumer carbon tax while keeping industrial carbon pricing and advancing a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism to protect Canadian businesses from unfair international competition.
What’s Staying the Same?
Despite federal changes, federal plastic reduction policies remain untouched, and at the provincial level, EPR and carbon reduction efforts continue to move forward.
