Newfoundland and Labrador releases details on phased plan to ease restrictions – Updated
June 25, 2020The province released its document to begin the process of loosening restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. More information can be found on the province’s website.
The province is using Alert Levels to provide public explanation for when certain restrictions will be lessened or lifted. Alert Level 1 would be where restrictions are minimized to a level similar to life prior to COVID-19. View more information on Alert Levels.
Update: RCC has received clarification that for all retailers, e-commerce/pick up and delivery are allowed so long as the retailer practices social distancing, keeps minimal staff in store to handle the pick up and delivery; customers are not allowed in the premises (so payment would have to be online or over the phone).
