Ontario PC government announces parliamentary assistants
July 5, 2022Last Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Premier Ford announced the government’s Parliamentary Assistants – the additional responsibility that many non-cabinet government MPPs are given within a particular Ministry. The full list can be found here.
The Premier also confirmed that the legislature will be recalled on August 8, 2022. Following the election of a Speaker, the session will commence with a Speech from the Throne and introduction of a budget, similar to one that was tabled at the end of April 2022. This session is expected to last five weeks.
