PEI minimum wage to increase April 1, 2021
November 17, 2020The government announced the province’s minimum wage will increase to $13.00 per hour on April 1, 2021. This is a $0.15 increase from 2020.
After years of RCC advocating for the government to adjust minimum wage by the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), this will be one of the first years in recent memory where PEI’s minimum wage increase will be in line with the CPI change.
