Potential Canadian Pacific strike set to affect supply chains

March 8, 2022

Last week, workers at Canadian Pacific (CP) Railway voted in favour of going on strike March 16, 2022 if a collective bargaining agreement isn’t reached. The potential strike would affect a wide range of commodities.

RCC is in regular communications with partners along the supply chain, and is communicating with federal officials, including Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada from a food security perspective, to advocate the acute need to avoid further supply chain disruptions that could be amplified with this potential strike.
