Peel Regional Police recognized with RCC Law Enforcement Recognition Award

September 16, 2024

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is an integral partner with the retail industry and a member of RCC’s National Retail Crime Taskforce, collaborating with associations and their members to develop progressive solutions addressing the rise in retail crime and community safety concerns.

PRP assigned Constable Melody Holmes to represent them on the RCC National Retail Crime Taskforce, where she quickly became a trusted source of support and guidance. Beyond organizing PRP activities and facilitating LPO training for blitzes, she has been an invaluable partner, assisting other police agencies as they join the Taskforce.

Cst. Melody Holmes and Chief Nishan Duraiappah were presented with the prestigious Law Enforcement Recognition Award, established by RCC’s LP Advisory Committee and Board of Directors. Congratulations to both recipients with thanks for their leadership, dedication, and partnership in the sector.
