RCC Member Poll Results: Transitioning to a new normal
June 24, 2021As regions across the country loosen (and even remove) the mandatory COVID-19 protocols for retailers, businesses are starting to define and transition into what will eventually become the “new normal.”
For now, we are all navigating uncharted territories in terms of creating safe environments for employees and customers in retail environments. RCC has begun discussions with experts and retailers across Canada with the goal of developing best practice recommendations for operations once government direction and health units’ mandatory orders are removed.
To that end, RCC recently polled its members on June 23, 2021, asking which practices they plan to keep and eliminate over the coming months, and the results were clear: retailers are likely to continue to maintain many protocols, with the exception of the quarantining of returned items.
RCC will post more information and recommendations as they become available. Join the conversation and let us know what you think below!
