Reminder: GST/HST Break Ends February 15, 2025
February 11, 2025The temporary GST/HST break ends on February 15, 2025. Starting 12:01 a.m. (local time) on February 16, businesses must resume charging GST/HST on previously exempted goods and services.
To prepare, ensure your accounting and point-of-sale systems are updated. The CRA understands this transition may take time—businesses making reasonable efforts to comply will not be the focus of enforcement.
