This new version of FoodWise Food Safety Certification Program helps food retail employees to keep customers safe. FoodWise Online includes new videos, workbooks, new learning activities/games and module quizzes to facilitate your employees learning for food safety.
FoodWise provides grocery retail staff with a better understanding of the factors that influence food safety. The purpose of the program is to provide staff with the science behind the procedures that keep food safe.

Course Information:
Course Content: Course content is based on module reading. The workbook in available in the online course which can be downloaded and used a Food Safety reference in your store. Accommodations for special needs can be made when requested.
Language Available: English and French
Course Length: 8 hours, Participants have 30 days to complete the module.
Special Requirements: If you have an identified learning disability or language barrier, RCC can make special accommodations when necessary.
Technical Requirements: The course is available in a online learning platform. The website is best viewed in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari web browsers. The course can also be viewed on a phone or tablet by either webpage. Please note, if you are completing the activities and modules quizzes on a phone, please ensure you selecting the correct answer before you press submit.
Certification Exam: The multiple-choice examination component of the FoodWise Program is the only assessment that the participant will partake in to become certified. The examination will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam will be proctored virtually. Accommodations for special needs can be made when requested.
This FoodWise certification is valid for five years.
