Retail jobs up month-over-month for August
September 12, 2023Retail jobs were up slightly month-over-month in August 2023, according to the latest findings from Statistics Canada.
Job totals dropped slightly year-over-year to -0.2% but were up 0.4% from July (unadjusted for seasonal effects). Despite this, six of ten provinces held to significant year-over-year increases, including western provinces like British Columbia (5.1%) and Manitoba (19.7%).
