Saskatchewan announces end of COVID restrictions
February 8, 2022The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that the province’s proof of vaccination requirement that has been in place for a number of sectors, will be discontinued as of 12:01 a.m. Monday, February 14.
Further, as of 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, all remaining restrictions including mandatory masking and mandatory COVID related isolation requirements will end across the province.
In making this announcement, Premier Moe expressed that proof of vaccination has been an effective policy, but its effectiveness has run its course, and that the benefits no longer outweigh the costs.
