Statistics Canada: Retail jobs, unemployment held steady in March
April 11, 2023Retail jobs remained steady in March 2023, up a modest 2,700 jobs, or 0.1%, nationwide from February 2023 according to the latest Statistics Canada report.
Overall employment rose by 35,000 (0.2%) over the same time period while the unemployment rate held steady at 5.0%.
