Stricter Mercury Limits and Lamp Phase-Outs
July 16, 2024Attention all retailers who sell products containing mercury: Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has finalized amendments to the Products Containing Mercury Regulations, effective June 19, 2025. Expect stricter mercury limits, a phase-out of mercury lamps, and new disposal rules for manufacturers and importers.
