Tariff Threats: RCC part of a United Front for Quebec’s Food Security

Rising trade tensions with the United States have raised concerns about the security of our food supply. In response, CCCD (RCC Quebec) is joining forces with farmers, local producers, processors, and retailers to call on the Canadian and Quebec governments to prioritize food security and boost our regional vitality.

Key requests include:

• Removing Barriers: Cutting unnecessary red tape and administrative hurdles.
• Securing Resources: Ensuring steady access to essential supplies and the foreign workers our industries need.
• Supporting Local Purchases: Promoting local buying to strengthen our communities.
• Financial Assistance: Providing direct aid to businesses hit by these challenges.
