Clint Mahlman, President & CEO, London Drugs Limited

Clint assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2011, was named Executive Vice President in 2014, and in 2018 became President and COO. In his 36 years with London Drugs, Clint has made a lasting impact on many aspects of the business. From part-time stock person to President, Clint has served in a wide range of store and head office roles, enabling him to develop a 360-degree perspective of the business. He is known for his passion for understanding how customer and employee behaviour drives merchandising and operations.

During his time as President & COO, London Drugs has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of Canada’s best employers for four years in a row, and multi-year winner of BC’s Most Trusted Brand, and BC’s most loved brand (of any industry) for a number of years.

Sgt. Guy Paul Larocque, Acting Officer in Charge, Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Guy Paul Larocque has been a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) since 2002. He is the acting officer in charge of the Canadian Antifraud Centre and the mass marketing and major fraud coordinator for the RCMP, where he represents Canadian law enforcement by providing lectures and participating in working groups to develop policy to combat mass marketing fraud in Canada. He has had a diverse policing career, working in both financial crime and general duty policing. While posted with the Financial Crime Section in New Brunswick, he led the first case of mortgage fraud in New Brunswick.

Giles Tipsword, Channel Manager, North America Video Security Solutions and Analytics, Motorola Solutions, Inc.

Giles is the North American Channel Manager for Motorola’s Enterprise body worn camera channel. He has more than 10 years of experience selling and supporting body worn cameras, in car video and license plate recognition technologies. Giles is also a retired Detective Lieutenant / Unit Commander from the Phoenix Police Department (Phoenix, Arizona, USA).

Gord Jamieson, Senior Business Leader, Canada Risk Services Visa Inc

Gord is a Senior Business Leader at Visa and is responsible for Canada Risk Services. His goal is to differentiate Visa from competition, reduce risks of regulatory impact and support core growth by engaging Canadian clients to minimize payment system risks. Prior to joining Visa, Gord served as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 20 years. Gord has over nine years of experience investigating organized crime involvement in forged credit card manufacturing and distribution. Gord is recognized by the Canadian courts as an expert in this field of investigation. In 2002, Gord graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with his Masters of Science degree in Economic Crime Management. Gord has held positions as both the President and Vice-President of the Central Canada Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) and presently is a member of the IAFCI Board of Advisors.

Jacquie Allison is the Manager, Health and Safety for London Drugs Limited. In her 39 years at London Drugs, she has a background in various Human Resources capacities, mainly in Disability Management. At London Drugs, Health and Safety is the top priority. Patrick is the Country Security Manager for H&M Canada for the last 15 years. Rick Snook is the Business Development Manager for Retail and Banking at Axis Communications. In this role he provides support and education and assists with providing comprehensive and sustainable solutions to our large end users while protecting our channel partners. Rick joined Axis in 2015 as a Key Account Manager for end users support for the Central Canada Market. He has over 36 years of sales, marketing, technical and design experience in the electronic security industry. Mr. Snook has been involved with industry leading associations such as CANASA, ASIS, Security Industry Association for many years. In her capacity as Director, Security Fusion Centre at Canada Post, Rita is continuing to develop new security capabilities to respond to emerging threats impacting corporate and customer security interests and ensuring the required security imperatives are provided in order to drive the company’s future security program. Throughout her career at Canada Post, Rita has established strategic partnerships with both the business and law enforcement communities where she has placed an important focus on information-sharing and preventative strategies to support risk reduction strategies. Highly regarded for her ground-breaking efforts in the security community, Rita is a frequent speaker at educational conferences. Tony Hunt, General Manager, Loss Prevention, London Drugs Limited

Tony Hunt is the General Manager of Loss Prevention for London Drugs Limited. Tony’s team at London Drugs is responsible for physical security, asset protection, internal investigations, distribution and supply chain security, online fraud prevention and the primary focus of late, emergency management and business continuity.
In addition to his role at London Drugs, he is also responsible for the security programs within some affiliated companies. Tony is the Director of Security for London Air Services and London Aviation Centre, and the Director of Security for Sonora Resort and Conference Centre.

Tony has spent 35 years working in or consulting to retail business, with 32 of those years working directly in Loss Prevention, Security, Investigations, and Risk Management.
Tony sits on several industry-related committees and is a licensed security consultant. Tony keeps in touch with the industry by attending and speaking at conferences of industry organizations.
