WorkSafe BC launches consultation on proposed amendments to Occupational Health and Safety Regulation

The proposed changes around workplace behaviours, including harassment and violence, will create a single framework in the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and will require employers to have written policies and procedures alongside training for supervisors and workers. There are also proposed amendments to policy on time limits for filing a mental disorder claim. The consultations are open until November 14, 2023 and November 27, 2023, respectively.
