WorksafeNB reduces average employer rates for 2023

Due to strong investment returns and the lowest injury frequency rate in thirteen years, WorksafeNB announced that the average employer assessment rate for 2023 will be reduced by 22%, to $1.31 per $100 of insurable earnings. Employers will be able to review their individual assessment rates by early November of this year.

WorkSafeNB also announced that it will be pursuing legislative changes to improve benefits for injured workers and their families.
