New requirements for alcohol-based fuels and firepots

Health Canada sent a notice with the updated requirements for certain alcohol-based fuel containers and portable firepots that use pourable fuels. There have been serious health hazards reported in connection with the use of these items.
These new requirements are effective immediately and Health Canada may take immediate compliance and enforcement action if necessary.
