While CEMs are often used for a variety of legitimate business purposes, failing to comply with CASL can carry significant risks and penalties for companies, associations and other types of organizations.
It is critical for marketers to not only understand the core requirements of CASL, but also how to avoid violations. This presentation will provide a brief overview of CASL with the focus of the presentation on specific types of CASL compliance errors and how to avoid them, including in relation to consent requests, requesting consent for third-parties, using third-party lists and directories, B2B marketing and friends and family type promotions.
This presentation will be followed by a live Q & A to address all of your CASL questions.
