Over the past three decades, sustainability reporting has been largely voluntary. KPMG’s surveys of sustainability reporting have offered meaningful insights on how to improve levels of disclosure for business leaders, sustainability professionals, and company boards. KPMG in Canada’s Roopa Davé, will reflect on how Canadian and global companies are evolving their ESG performance and disclosure based off the results of the twelfth edition of KPMG’s Sustainability Reporting Survey. She will deep dive into emerging trends for Canadian companies by offering meaningful insights on biodiversity & natural capital, human rights, and Indigenous reconciliation practices/impacts, along with recommendations for how these global and Canadian trends impact retailers.
