Pietro John Rollo has been in the role of Senior Vice President for National Procurement at Metro Inc since February 2023. He currently leads the procurement teams for both Food and Pharmacy divisions, and the manufacturing activities including the bakery chain, Première Moisson.
Before joining the company, Pietro dedicated three years to a large multinational retailer, in Canada, where he specialized in Global Sourcing, Private Brands, and Fresh. This experience culminated in his leadership of the entire Food division.
Pietro’s experience extends beyond North America and he brings nearly 20 years of experience from Europe having worked at leading international retailers Carrefour, Albert Heijn and Delhaize. He held multiple leadership and executive roles and played a key role in the Ahold Delhaize merger.
On a personal note, Pietro can speak four languages. He is married to his wife Tiziana, and they have two children, Emily and Edward.
