The Workplace Mental Health team at the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) will be hosting a virtual roundtable for the retail and hospitality sectors on October 27th, 2021, from 11 am to 3 pm Eastern Time. MHCC is seeking participants to provide feedback on:

  • Psychological health and safety challenges in their industry
  • Workplace resources (e.g. tip sheets, guides, tools, videos, etc.) that are helpful/unhelpful
  • Recommendations for development of 2 to 3 additional resources that would likely have high usability throughout retail and hospitality workplaces

Application Process:
At this time, we will be capping the roundtable at 60 participants representing a cross-section of positions, industries, demographics, and regions, to encourage meaningful and insightful conversation.

A cross section of participants will be selected from the applications received. Confirmation and materials will be sent to each participant that is selected to help them prepare for meaningful participation.

Please note the following:
All participants must be directly employed by a company/organization within the hospitality or retail industry in Canada.

There will be sensitive topics being discussed.

If you are selected, you will be sent an invitation to register for the event. Registration for the event must be for the participant identified on this application form.

Applications will close on October 4th, 2021. You will be notified of your acceptance to the event by October 8th, 2021.
